The Direct Line ("the app") is a free app that publishes daily South African horse racing tips. This page explains what information the app collects and how it's used.
Push notification subscriptions. If you enable notifications, your device registers a push subscription (an endpoint and encryption keys provided by your browser or device) so we can send you an alert when new tips are published. This subscription is stored on our server solely to deliver notifications and is never shared with, or sold to, any third party. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, which stops future messages from being delivered.
Favourites. If you star a meeting as a favourite, that preference is stored only on your own device (locally) and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
What we don't collect. The app does not require an account, does not collect your name, email address, location, or any government ID, and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
The app displays editorial horse racing tips and may link out to 10bet (10bet.co.za) for users who wish to place bets. We do not process any bets, payments, or account registrations within the app itself — that happens entirely on 10bet's own platform, under 10bet's own privacy policy and terms.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Push subscription data is used only to operate the notification feature described above.
This app is intended for users of legal gambling age in their jurisdiction (18+) and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
